Choose boxing gloves around the session you actually train
A glove for a heavy-bag session and a glove for controlled work with a partner do different jobs. Start with your club’s equipment list, then compare the intended use of each model. This collection brings together individual gloves and some sets containing gloves, so check the product contents when comparing prices.
Ounces describe weight, rather than the space available for your hand. Two 16 oz models can feel different around the fingers and wrist. Try a pair with your usual wraps, close the fastening and check that you can make a comfortable fist. For sparring, let your coach confirm the permitted weight and model.

Questions before you choose
Is 16 oz a hand size?
No. Oz describes glove weight. Compare the model’s fit and your club’s required weight separately.
Can I use any boxing gloves for sparring?
Check the intended use of the model and ask your coach which gloves are accepted for partner work.
